Strap on your R.M Williams boots and Akubra hat, because a brand new season of Farmer Wants A Wife is about to kick off in just a few weeks’ time.

Five dashing farmers – Alex, Neil, Sam, Harry and Nick – will each have eight women vying for their affections, and the chance to live happily ever after.

So yes, that means in total there are 40 fabulous ladies who will be fighting to show these blokes that they’ve got what it takes to be their ideal partner in life.

Farmer Wants A Wife is one of the world’s most successful reality dating franchises, with 99 marriages and 225 beautiful babies created worldwide as a result of the show.

Here in Australia, it’s also seen huge success, resulting in nine marriages and 19 children, with another baby on the way very soon!

Natalie Gruzlewski, who previously hosted the show for nine seasons between 2007 and 2016, is returning this year to help guide the 40 contestants through the trials and tribulations of love in the countryside.
