Australia’s first-ever The Golden Bachelor has officially kicked off, with the nation being introduced to Barry “Bear” Myrden and 20 hopeful contestants looking to find love.
But, unfortunately, only one lady can win Bear’s heart.
As the season progresses, Bear will have the make the tough decision to send contestants home as he embarks on a journey to find love again.

Abbie Chatfield didn’t hold back in the latest episode of The Golden Bachelor, confronting Bear and questioning why he hadn’t taken her mother, Laura, on a single date yet.
“Still lots of time….” he sheepishly answered. But it wasn’t meant to be, and the primary school teacher was eliminated later in the episode during a rose ceremony.
Katrina

The drama started heating up on The Golden Bachelor, with tension in the house growing. Elizete and Katrina were seen getting irritated by La Ren, but by the rose ceremony, it was La Ren who received one of the final roses. This meant Katrina was also eliminated alongside Laura.
Hamidah

Hamidah was sadly sent home in episode three of The Golden Bachelor after not receiving a rose.
Nicolette

55-year-old singer Nicolette was also eliminated during the second episode of the debut season.
Linda

The second episode of the season saw 61-year-old stylist Linda eliminated during a rose ceremony.

Jane sadly not receive a rose and was sent home on the first night.
