Duchess Catherine wearing a fashion label is  the ultimate endorsement for designers – but what would she wear from the newest season to show at Fashion Week?

Many designers would give anything to see their designs worn by the stunning royal, but Catherine doesn’t wear just any label – she has her favourites.

The Duchess particularly likes to support British designers, and so as Fashion Week is underway in London, we’re taking a look at some of her favourite labels to spot what the Duchess might be wearing next season.

Outfits worn by the Duchess are notorious for selling out almost straight away so it’s little wonder that designers clamour to get their designs picked up by the palace.

One young jewellery designer spoke recently about how an the royal seal of approval has been a massive boost to her growing business.

On another occasion recently an affordable pair of earrings were so popular that they resulted in a major employment boon in the tiny Indonesian village where they were originally manufactured. The demand for the earrings created jobs for the locals and the village thrived as a result.

So which lucky labels will see a surge in demand thanks to the Duchess’s style choices this season? Flick through the gallery to take a look!

"Two women in blue outfits; left in a teal dress and hat, right in a long light blue coat on runway."

British label Emilia Wickstead showed some very classic tailored designs that the Duchess would no doubt be a fan of, having worn her pieces before when visiting New Zealand last year.

"Model in blue textured ensemble on runway; woman in similar coat waving to crowd holding Union Jacks."

Indeed, this baby blue number looks like it could be a likely contender for the Duchess’s wardrobe as she is quite a fan of the colour already.

"Left: Woman in purple dress with man in suit. Right: Model in lavender long-sleeve gown on runway."

Another purple number by Emilia Wickstead would suit the Duchess – she was spotted in a similar shade frock by another favourite label of hers, Issa.

Two side-by-side images: Left shows a couple in formal attire; right shows a model in a red dress on a runway.

This red number by the British label Issa could be another favourite frock for the Duchess whose engagement dress by the same label sold out instantly after she wore it while posing with William for their official engagement photos

Another fashion favourite of Catherine’s is Jenny Packham – the Duchess wore this deep blue frock by the designer for the second time last year while on a visit to New York with William. We think this sparkly number shown by the designer – also in New York, at fashion week there last week, could be just the thing for a special evening occasion.

Women in black patterned dresses; one at a public event and one on a fashion runway.

Another favourite label of the Duchess’s, Temperley London, showed this semi-sheer floor-length gown which could suit the Duchess for a glam evening event.
