After ending her big podcast deal with audio giant Spotify in June 2023, Meghan Markle once again made waves in the space, with her new podcast launching on 8 April 2025.
Meghan signed a deal with podcast network Lemonada Media, which distributed the first season of her first podcast Archetypes, along with her new series, Confessions of a Female Founder.

CONFESSIONS OF A FEMALE FOUNDER PODCAST
Taking to her newly-relaunched Instagram page on 14 March 2025, Meghan Markle confirmed the news of her brand-new podcast in collaboration with Lemonada.
“I’m so excited to share with you something else I’ve been working on: “Confessions of a Female Founder,” my new podcast with @lemonadamedia!,” she wrote.
“I’ve been having candid conversations with amazing women who have turned dreams into realities, and scaled small ideas into massively successful businesses. They’re opening up, sharing their tips, tricks (and tumbles), and letting me pick their brains as I build out my own business, As ever. It has been absolutely eye-opening, inspiring…and fun! (Because what’s the point if we can’t have some fun on this wild adventure?)”
Meghan later released the trailer for the podcast. In the voiceover, Meghan chatted with a variety of female founders about the highs and lows of being business owners.
“I’m Meghan, and this is Confessions of a Female Founder, a show where I chat with female entrepreneurs and friends about the sleepless nights, the lessons learned and the laser focus that got them to where they are today,” she said in the preview released on 25 March.
“We’re diving into the highs — and the lows – and the kind of advice that turns small ideas into billion-dollar businesses. And of course, we’re going to get some girl talk!”
But after completing the first season on 17 June, Meghan revealed she was taking “everyone’s advice, and mine included” and putting on podcast on hiatus.
“What an amazing opportunity, to pull back the curtain and let people see what’s happening at the start, to have the opportunity to talk to so many female founders who’ve been on that full trajectory, that are on the other side of success,” she said in the final episode.
“To be able to be really candid and vulnerable personally about my learns and stumbles along the way,” she added. “And to then take everyone’s advice, and mine included, and to say ‘I love that there’s so much excitement and desire for another season, but I need to focus on my business,” she added.
LEMONADA MEDIA DEAL
Meghan’s new Lemonada deal was confirmed in March 2024, with the brand taking to X (formerly Twitter) to say, “Dive into the world of ‘Archetypes’ with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex. Explore the labels that try to hold women back. Now available from Lemonada on all platforms for the first time.”
The news of the new podcast was announced via Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relaunched website, Sussex.com, along with a new portrait of the Duchess taken by photographer and friend, Misan Harriman.
In a statement, the Duchess of Sussex said: “I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting.
“Being able to support a female founded company with a roster of thought provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024.
“Our plan to re-release Archetypes so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast are well in the works. I’m so eager to be able to share it soon, and am overjoyed to be joining the Lemonada family.”

ARCHETYPES PODCAST
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle launched Archewell Audio at the close of 2020. At the time, they branded the endeavour as a way of showcasing a range of different voices and perspectives.
Their first episode of Archetypes was a holiday special and featured their firstborn son, Archie – then 19 months old.
Urging Archie to speak into the microphone Harry said: “You can speak into it,” before Meghan asked: “Archie, is it fun?”
Archie then responded with a simple word that melted Sussex hearts everywhere: “Fun.”
Meghan’s original podcast ran for 12 episodes and also included conversations with a range of stars and friends of the Duchess, including Serena Williams, Mariah Carey, Mindy Kaling, Paris Hilton and Constance Wu, among others.
Archetypes also won the top podcast award at the People’s Choice Awards in 2022.
